The 1st edition of Smithereens In A Moment, by Shaun J. Apple, which is the sequel to the highly creative poetry book, Eons In A Moment (2007). The poems in this book cover various elements / feelings of life, romance, death, war, society, culture, travel, and love, plus the personal reflections of the author. Experimental / Avant-garde poetry and photography that seeks to share insight from interesting lines of emotion wrapped up with chunks of sentiments and sociological points. The main theme of this book is about life coming apart in a moment. Each poem has a photograph accompanying it, giving greater ambiance / feeling to the poem. A place where the poem was composed is given, making the reader aware of the location of the creative place outside of the poet's mind.  read more »

or what it is really.
To find the one you love
is a dream about being together.
To factor the dream real is to live.
Your love is blatant,
and it is fine.
Wishing to be defined.
Human as if touch.
Glance at life as how mountains rise.
Reasons speculated in a world of ways right.

Shut inside an air conditioned berth.
In through outer course.
Love through windows first.

You try to turn her on
to the wind.
But your corridor is
killed by the window.
Oh, Oh.

And dream of chiseling her
geologically timed-less moment.
To see rare gems
hopefully refract light.

Deserted to the pleasure
of her soulmate's astride.
She is in through outer course.
Loved through windows first.

for her "love at first sight".
I feel, I think that I see.
Settlement for these two lovers.
You and me.

Sunset dispute
between two mutes.
What will go down first?
She meanders,
so does he.
Every couple paces.
