Starless skies
sleepless nights
but I can't escape
to the saftey of the moonlight
and I sit here
waiting for the sun to stop crying its tears
wait for the light to heal broken years
wait for the night to let in the sun
wait for an absolution that may never come
just waiting
in the night of blackened hearts and weakened souls
yet I still can't escape night's deadness and cold
and people get used to darkness ; silent but bold
and I'm left here
waiting
with the tiniest little light in my eyes
as the darkness overcast all of the skies  read more »

sometimes

sometimes when i sit by myself at the dawn

i remember how i used to be so alone

but then you came to change my life

and let me know that my soul is alive

sometimes when my heart beats go higher

and i feel that my passion is put on fire

i ran to the open sea and sleep in a boat

and open your lettres to feel you with each word you wrote

i look at the sky and try to go so far

to see your angel face drawn by each star

sometimes when i feel that the world become so small  read more »

Why is it alright for black men to father babies and not be a father to them? Why is alright for black women to have multiple babies by different men out of wedlock and complain that there are no decent black men? Why is it alright that black men drive the latest cars with rims and tv's in the headrest and live at home with their mother? Why is it alright that  black women have fantasy requirements on meeting men(i.e. complexion, height, tool size) and when it's doesn't work out time and time again, complain again that there are no decent black men? Why do black men feel it's alright to lay up on women and family and not work?  read more »
