             Dual Reality

Every night I lay down to rest and shut my eyes,
I drown in dreams that seem so vivid and real.
In many of them, my heart pounds and cries.
But they choose to remain with me, so what's the deal?

Mornings come after I wait for a long time,
And I still resist waking to my anguish and disdain,
Should I choose to end my life and commit a crime,
Or keep myself coiled up in dreams that cause pain?

I have to confess that I dream in a world that is not mine,
since I am certain I am not qualified to be there.
After all, nothing changes or ever becomes just fine.
Day after day my life gets much harder to bare!

I truly wish I can find a fixed path or destination.
Or, at least clutch onto anything that takes me far away,
from the ironies of dreams and events without aggravation.
Somebody, Somebody, tell me where I should stay?!

I like your poem

I can read your tough situation in your poem (forgive my poor English)
You ask where you should stay. Stay where you like, be stronger, be brave, enjoy the life peacefully but do not forget the people far away suffering the pain, hunger, bad-health, no hope and fear, then you will know you have got alot from heaven, and you realize you have a guide inside, that is you
